Hi there! I'm Maddie, the human behind the hook, and this fluffy supervisor you see photobombing everything is Mochi—my corgi "assistant" who's perfected the art of napping on yarn skeins.
How This Started
What began as a cozy hobby in my living room has turned into a full-blown passion project. I've always loved creating things with my hands, but I can't lie. Crocheting took me a long time to get into; I was much more into knitting to begin with. But, there's something magical about turning a simple ball of yarn into a character with personality—whether it's a derpy llama, a perfectly loaf-shaped cat, or a reindeer ready for the holidays.
Mochi thought my yarn stash looked like the perfect napping spot, and honestly, he wasn't wrong. Now he's our unofficial mascot, quality control manager (he takes his job very seriously), and the inspiration behind our MOCHILOVE discount code.
What Makes Us Different
Every single piece in this shop is handmade by me in our cozy corner. No mass production, no shortcuts—just me, my hook, soft high-quality yarn, and Mochi's "helpful" supervision. I work on many of these pieces during my TikTok Lives, so if you've ever watched me stitch, there's a good chance you've seen your future plushie come to life!
I love creating whimsical designs that make people smile. Whether it's a Woolamina Llama with their signature fluff, a Loaf Cat in full sploot mode, or seasonal characters that capture the cozy vibes of the holidays—each creation is made with care and probably contains at least one corgi hair (I try, okay?).
Beyond the Online Shop
You can find us at local markets around the area—Wire Road Brewing Co. is one of our favorite spots! There's something special about seeing people's faces light up when they hold one of our plushies in person.
